Top 10 Cool Sewing Gadgets for Your Start-Up

When it comes to tools, I’m constantly searching for items that will make my sewing life easier or solve sewing-related problems. The correct tool can save time and effort, and I’m all for that!

I’ve discovered many fascinating sewing gadgets over the years, and today I’ve decided to share some of them with you by compiling a list of the Top 10  Sewing Gadgets.

I hope you will find this list to be interesting and helpful. Some of these tools are ones I have used in the past, and others I have learned about while making this list (I love that there is always something new to learn about sewing!).

Top 1. Pin Cushion with a Suction Cup

This tiny tulip pin cushion has been in my possession for a while, and I love that I can place it anywhere and it will stay in place. I usually use this when using my overlock to stitch; I simply set it on the overlock and use pins to attach it while sewing because I know it will remain put.

This seam guide tape is perfect for novices since it will help you maneuver the fabric before it hits the needle, resulting in consistently straight seams. Simply attach it on the sewing machine’s plate.

And lastly, an essential tool: an expandable sewing gauge. When installing buttons or pintucks, this gauge is quite useful to have around. Simply stretch it to the required distance, and you will always have an exact equal distance from each button!
